7:30 AM to 4:00 PM As the staff is small and a lot of work is done out of the office throughout Columbia County it is best to call ahead to determine if anyone will be in the office.

Mission: To increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another.

United Way of Columbia County supports 33 programs with 20 community partners.  These programs provide a large variety of services to the residents of Columbia County.  United Way raises funds to support these programs and has a volunteer board who review and oversee the organizations.  United Way also is an information and referral source for services within Columbia County and works to collaborate and coordinate with other non profit organizations.  We frequently leverage donations of product and services to assist other non profit organizations better meet the need of their clients.
We are members of Gifts in Kind and naier.  These programs allow not for profit organizations within Columbia County to purchase items for a small shipping and handling fee.  For more information on what is availabe contact United Way office.  All items will be ordered via the United Way office.  Gifts in Kind can be shipped to any location. naier is shipped to United Way office.
We also receive donations from Joanne's and Bed Bath and Beyond.  There are currently fall and christmas decorating items available to local not for profits organizations.
This includes daycare centers and schools.


You can donate your used vehicles to United Way of Columbia County and receive a tax deduction.  Just call 1-866-392-4483 or go to www.donateforchairty.com.  You can then designate United Way of Columbia County to receive your donation.  Our United Way ID# is 39240F  The Donate for Charity company handles all paperwork as well as verifying that the vehicle has a resale value, pickup and acceptance of said vehicle. Once the vehicle has been sold we receive a check and you will receive the paperwork giving the value for tax deduction.
